8 Adventures to try in March
It’s March. You are so over winter but winter isn’t over you. We have found that the best way to make time go faster is to have fun.
Here are our 8 things to try in March.
Basketball - College basketball season is upon us. Instead of simply watching a game, go outside (or to a rec center) and play a game. You don’t have to have a full team. You can shoot some hoops alone, with a friend, or with several friends. Imagine their surprise when you call them up and ask them to meet you on the court.
Eat something you fear - We all have that thing that makes us a little nervous to try. Now is your chance to try it. Go big!
Geocaching - This is a fun way to get the whole family involved in a walk. It’s like a modern day treasure hunt. Download the app and go for a walk to discover little hidden treasures around your neighborhood, trail, or city.
Learn to knit - You’ll have fun exploring this craft, and once you get the hang of knitting it can be a nice meditative activity. Check out your local yarn store (yes, they exist) and enroll in a beginning to knit class, or if you are really brave and want to go it alone buy needles, yarn and watch a youtube video.
Take a boxing class - These gyms are popping up all over the place! Take a class and kick some ass.
Get lost - Go for a drive and get lost! Put down your map and drive out of town. Follow your intuition. Go left. Go right. You might surprise yourself where you end up. And don’t worry! You have your phone. You can’t get too lost.
Museum - Visit your local museum. Anything goes. Natural History, art, train, etc. Find something a little more obscure and unusual. Also, check their website. Many museums have free days.
We hope you enjoy your challenges this month. Be sure you tag us on social media so we can find your adventures #8adventurestotry.
