8 Adventures to try in November

The holidays are coming so we are all finding our time just a little more precious which is why we wanted to do a little more relaxed adventures for this month. Nothing too time consuming because we know you don’t have much time.

We hope you enjoy the challenges. Have fun with them!

  1. Read a book: Last month we read Beth Jusino’s A Walk to the end of the world: A thousand miles on the Camino De Santiago. We were so inspired by her desire to do something big and her will to do it. You can read it too and join us for a discussion or just pick up a book you’ve been meaning to finish.

  2. Visit a museum: Many museums have one night a month free or sometimes one day a week.

  3. Bundle up and walk: It’s probably getting cold where you live so throw on some layers and take a walk. Invite a friend for company.

  4. Try a new recipe: Grab that cookbook you bought months ago and still haven’t tried a single recipe, and get to cooking. Or go to the library and check out a book.

  5. Go roller skating: You know you want to! When was the last time you strapped on some skates and hit the rink?

  6. Sketch: Go to the park and watch, observe, draw.

  7. Curling: Search out a local curling club and see if they have a learning to curl night.

  8. Dancing: Move your body! It’s a great workout. You can find some local dance classes at bars/clubs. Try salsa, line, swing, ballroom, hip hop, or whatever feels right. This is a cheap workout and way more fun!
